Four vehicle RTC resulted in Male arrested!

Good afternoon all,

On Monday 7th September 2026, at approx. 16:45hrs a grey Audi was sighted on Hollins Road Interchange roundabout near to the Esso garage driving at speed. The grey Audi continued to drive at speed through the Hollinwood area and failed to stop upon police request. The vehicle collided with four vehicles causing damage, all members of the public were checked over by paramedics and suffered minor injuries. 

After a short foot pursuit, the male was ARRESTED at the scene and has since been CHARGED for Fail to Stop, Dangerous Driving and Possession of Class A drug.

A positive result in relation to speeding in the local area! Officers will continue to take action against speeding and reckless driving!
